Why use the Track and Trace

Purpose I: Get the current location

SCALAR enables you to use the functionality of the position to view the current location of multiple assets. This helps to view the current whereabouts and to have an insight regarding the sufficient assets in the region to achieve the orders for the next day.

Purpose II: View the historical locations

SCALAR enables you to have a historical view of an asset. This information helps draw a map route, indicating the asset’s position for that specific time. Combined with the speed source, this gives an overview of where a driver lost time or deviated from an expected route.

Purpose III: Get the current activity

SCALAR enables you to use the activities functionality to view the current activity of multiple assets. This helps to view the current tasks at hand.

Purpose IV: View the historical activities

SCALAR enables you to have a historical view of an asset. This information helps construct a timesheet, indicating an asset’s or driver’s activity at a specific moment. This timesheet overviews unexpected stops or where an activity took longer than expected.
